The shame
chocking on the pain.
Standing in the rain
of guilt, of powerlessness.

Wondering why.
Release it, let it go.
Forget it , I know.
The shame.

Looking back,
Lost in despair.
Abused, naked.
Don't trust them.
Take me away.
I'm scared,
is today the day?
The shame.

I feel them,
eyes all over me.
mocking, ridicule
I can't see.
The shame.

Block it, fake it.
Cry till I bleed.
Break me down,
This I need.
The shame, the shame.

The Truth

What is the truth,


but a bunch of lies?

Can you hear it when I speak

or see it in my eyes?

Whose truth is it anyway,

Is it theirs or mine?

You can search forever,

But forever you'll be blind.

You only see what you want, Believe what you want. Because you care not, What the truth may mean. Your eyes may open, and things will not be as they seem.

So you close them tight and cover your ears. You refuse to hear my pain. You refuse to see my tears.

So, I keep moving on. Pretending to be strong. Loving only those who love me. Forgetting the pain. Letting it be. One day. Eventually. You will see.

There is no truth. Only lies, in disguise. Waiting to be free.

Soon baby , really soon.
Everything dark will be light.

And our faith will lead the way.
And guide us through our sorrows.
And help us through another day.

"My MLM program just isn't working out. They don't have this, and this, and this and the company doesn't do this, this, and this. Can you recommend a good MLM opportunity for me to join?"

I get a lot of phone calls and conversations like this.

I normally recommend that the callers get a government job where everything is perfect. They shouldn't be wasting their time with an imperfect MLM company.

There is no such thing as a perfect job or a perfect MLM company. Too many distributors think that if they join the right, perfect, momentum stage, ground floor, stable, 30-year-old, visionary company, then that company will make them rich and successful.

Dream on.

Companies don't make distributors rich.

Sponsors don't make distributors rich.

Only distributors can make themselves rich.

The reason many distributors are unsuccessful is because they constantly look for flaws and reasons why their opportunity won't work.

The reason many leaders are successful is because they constantly look for reasons why their opportunity will work.

So, if you call to complain that outside influences (like your company, sponsor, spouse, lawyer, dog, weather conditions, etc.) are holding you back from success, I'll listen. I need the stress for my aerobic conditioning.

But remember, after you blame everyone else, don't go out looking for yet another MLM opportunity. It doesn't matter which MLM opportunity you choose not to work. Success will only come where you decide to work.

What are the top 100 MLM and Network Marketing Companies?

Tom "Big Al" Schreiter is definately one of the GREATEST MLM trainers of our time. Being in network marketing since 1972, this man knows what he's talking about. When Tom speaks, you should listen :-)

I get the following call:  


“Hi, I just need to have a list of the top 100 MLM companies. And, if you have it, a list of new MLM companies too. I’m going to find the best one and make a million dollars.”

What should I do?

Should I humor him? Lie to him? Tell him the truth?

I told him the truth.

There is no list of the top 100 MLM companies. Who would be in charge of the criteria? Who would set the ideal ethics scale? Who would be the final judge of the product quality?

I told the caller, “Most companies are good. If they were bad, had terrible products, and ripped off people, they would eventually go out of business.”

And about a list of new companies? Gee, we could sign up in at least ten new companies every day on the Internet. So “new” means these companies are “old” 24 hours later. I’m not sure what “new” has to do with quality anyway.

I guess if we joined something because it was new today, what would we tell our prospects tomorrow? It is not “new” anymore.

I think there should be something else besides “new” in our decision.

The really bad news about all of this is that this caller thinks that finding the “right company” will be the key to solving his problems.

It won’t help him at all.

He doesn’t have the skills necessary to be successful in any company.

Finding a company to join isn’t what it takes to build a successful network marketing business. It will take skills.

And unless this caller is willing to learn the skills to build a networking business, he will be sentenced to a lifetime of company research, joining companies unsuccessfully, and surfing the Internet for one more new thing to join.

Sad.

I hope he stops looking for the top 100 Network Marketing companies. I hope he stops looking for new network marketing companies to join.

But the reality is:

He will find sitting at home surfing the Internet, comparing company compensation plans, etc. much more safe and comfortable than actually learning the skills and building a real business.
